The Concern Youth of Drobonso, the capital of Sekyere Afram Plains in Ashanti region have expressed dissatisfaction about the performance of their leaders, especially their M.P, Hon. Alex Adomako Mensah and D.C.E, Fuseini Donkor.
The youth are accusing the MP, Hon. Alex Adomako Mensah and Hon. Fuseini Donkor, of doing little to better the wellbeing of the people in the area.
In an interview with Fox News, the spokesperson of the Concerned Youth of Drobonso, Mr. Boakye Yiadom said out of the over ninety (90) communities in the district, only one community (Drobonso) has access to electricity.
He disclosed that a company contracted to extend electricity to five (5) other communities in the district has abandoned the project and the poles meant for the project are being eaten by termites while the MP and DCE looks on unconcerned.
Aside the electricity problem, Boakye Yiadom said there is no hospital in the entire district and the only private clinic in the district is in a deplorable state.
He added that the least said about the road network and education in the district, the better.
He claim, though final year Junior High School students write I.C.T examination during their final BECE, they have not set their eyes on a Computer before.
Final year Junior High School students travel several kilometers to Kumawu to write their BECE due to the absence of a BECE Centre in the district.
“The district don’t have a Senior High School and a Fire Station”, Yiadom added.
The youth are therefore calling on government to resolve the above listed problem before November 7 2016 or risk losing their votes.
